Front End Web Developer

NOTE: This position is local in Grand Rapids, MI, although we do work from home on Fridays.

Position Overview

Cull Group is looking for a well-rounded web developer who is driven to learn, accept challenges, and craft effective solutions as part of our talented creative team. 

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of web development experience
  • Advanced experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, HTML, and CSS
  • Demonstrated proficiency in PHP, Javascript, and jQuery
  • Creative, strategic, and independent thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for self-learning
  • Organized and detail-oriented

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience with ExpressionEngine, Craft CMS, and Shopify
  • Liquid Template Language, AJAX, and SQL
  • API Integrations
  • Familiarity with Cpanel, WHM, MySQL, cron jobs, and basic Linux server management
  • Project management experience
  • Understanding of information architecture, UI/UX, and SEO
  • Previous employment with a creative agency
